Experience This Magnum Helicopters Ride in Oahu
My doors-off helicopter adventure with Magnum Helicopters is one of the highlights of my trip to Hawaii! Let me share it with you!
In Hawaii, people usually think about cruising, snorkeling, scuba diving and other island sports. However, some tourists are not familiar with helicopter rides overlooking the beautiful islands of Hawaii!
It can be overwhelming to think that you are in a helicopter – “it sounds expensive and luxurious!”Well, we won’t deny that a helicopter flight can be expensive, but we all know that it’s worth it! Especially if you are going to Hawaii. Ah, the view!
In this article, I want to share with you one of my most memorable and exciting trips to Hawaii. I had to go around the island of Oahu or Hawaii in an open-door helicopter for 50 minutes!
Places to see above the sky by helicopter
You have the choice between 3 Magnum helicopter experiences. As I said above, I did the doors of the helicopter adventure, so I will summarize the general highlights of my visit so that you can get an idea of what you are about to experience!
Helicopter adventure in Magnum helicopters
That was the tour I did! The experience is totally different from all the previous helicopter flights I have done because this one is more exciting without the doors! This 50-minute walk will show you the natural beauty of Oahu. Above are the popular sights and attractions of the island. Here are the highlights of what you will see:
Keehi Lagoon, Magical Island and Waikiki Beach
To start the tour, I had a nice view of the Keehi Lagoon which is a popular place for canoeing and boating. The ride continues over the historic Honolulu Harbor, the Aloha Tower and the natural Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. While you are flying, you will have the chance to have a breathtaking view of the Koolau Mountains, Ala Moana Beach Park, the Magic Island and Waikiki Beach. The highlight of this part of the tour is that you can also see Waikiki surfers and if luck is on your side, you can have the chance to see marine animals such as dolphins and turtles.
Diamond Head, Kahala and Hanauma Bay
The next sight you will see is Diamond Head, Kahala and Hanauma Bay. This aerial tour will continue to amaze you with the beautiful views of Diamond Head, Kahala and Hanauma Bay. Enjoy the tour while continuing to admire the beauty of Mount Olomana, Kailua, Kaneohe and the magnificent coral formations of Kaneohe Bay.
Kaaawa Valley, Sacred Falls and North Coast and Pearl Harbor
Finally, the tour ends with a breathtaking view of the most popular historical sites of the island, such as Pearl Harbor, the action ship Missouri, the sacred Falls and the Arizona Memorial.
